In planning my south-to-north 1991 Ptarmigan Traverse, I want to start at Image Lake, go past Canyon Lake and over Totem Pass, then traverse the divide between Sulphur Creek and Spruce Creek and end in a position to make Sinister Peak the first one climbed. Then in order I hope to climb Dome Peak, Spire Point, Sentinel Peak, Old Guard Peak, Le Conte Mountain, Mt Formidable, Spider Mountain, 'S' Mountain (Hurry Up), Magic Mountain and Mixup Peak. I have fuel and food to last, hopefully, 2 weeks allowing me to conclude my 'Ptarmigan' by climbing Mixup Peak before exiting via Cascade Pass. It almost worked out that way but not quite...
