Cache Col is a great hike, maybe more of a scramble, from Cascade Pass but take along your ice axe and crampons!

Even though Cache Col is the traditional gateway to the Ptarmigan Traverse, the col itself is a worthy objective. The views into the Middle Cascade Glacier flnaked on the left by the bulk of Spider and on the right by the imposing summit ridge of Formidable are impressive. More later.
